| The broad remit of this project is to run the 'do you bIT' campaign at Oxford, and provide support for other organisations to run similar initiatives. The campaign will see to encourage as many people as possible to take IT-related energy efficiency seriously e.g. switch desktop computer to low-power states, safely and reliably when they are not in use. Main objectives: * Try to persuade Janet(UK) to host a monitoring and wake on LAN service for Liverpool University to evaluate whether it can be offered more broadly. * Explore the use of agent-based modelling in persuading people that 'doing their bit' matters * Promote the 5 steps to reducing IT-related energy efficiency across the University of Oxford * |
