Welcome to the EU project managers wiki page. A wiki is a tool that allows distributed people to collaborate in the creation of web pages. Once you have learn a few tricks regarding editing then you will be well underway.

This page is visible to the world but can only be edited by people with an account in this wiki.

It is up to this group to decide how to use this wiki, below are some suggested starting points.

Project web sites

Not part of the EU project club but just for background Howard Noble's is working on the [http://bream.oucs.ox.ac.uk/ask.oucs/ask/index.php/ASK ASK Project].

Project tools

Below are some useful tools, well I say useful but that is maybe just my personal choice. The we all face as project managers is that we must make decisions on the best tools for a GROUP of people not just ourselves. Embedding tools in a community of practice is an art and something we are very interested in at Oxford (Howard Noble).

Selection of tools

What makes a useful tool?

  • Something that saves a project time
  • Something that is easy to learn
  • Something that enables a project to do new things

  • Something that is easy to access
  • Something that is a good price
  • add some more here...
