To Do list
To make sure we satisfy basic requirements of a demonstrator:
Get eProfile web service working with TouchGraph client.
- may need newer version of eProfile client code which allows connecting to web service rather than static XML file.
may be browser issues (Linux) with TouchGraph and pop-ups.
- Write up difficulties encountered with:
- SVN repository structure, code history.
- deployment of web service (lack of build system, etc).
- technical documentation of what web service does/how it works.
- connecting client to web service (if any).
To satisfy Frockle objectives in the most basic way:
Develop a WebLearn template to display/edit a profile via eProfile web service.
Develop a modified version of the WebLearn search tool to search for MyWebLearn spaces.
Add ability to view a FOAF network in WebLearn (starting in a user's personal space?)
Add ability to view a user's profile in WebLearn after navigating FOAF network.
Other issues/tasks:
- SVN repository: Ideally we and Essex should use the same repository for work in progress, to avoid relying on periodic updates from Essex. Options are: both use main Essex one (branch for us), public SVN at SF, or current Essex one/OUCS one with full import? We can offer help with structuring/maintaining the repository, especially if it's at SF.
